THE DEAD MEN DON'T PULL TRIGGERS DEBATE
Roger Lewis vs. Bradley Speers
Robert Lewis, a Canadian chemist, wrote a very detailed essay in on the massive blood morphine level found in Cobain's body. His findings claim that Cobain was either incapacitated or dead before the gunshot, and that he was a victim of homicide, not suicide. That essay is archived on this site.

It can also be found on his website.

Bradley Speers. a pharmacology student, wrote a rebuttal to Lewis' essay, entitled Rebuttal to Dead Men Don't Pull Triggers. Speers says "My rebuttal would not disprove claims provided by the essay, and the essay does seem to have interesting points, but you should be weary of a few things."

Roger Lewis then wrote a response to Bradley Speers' rebuttal. That response was also posted on his website for everyone to read.

It's an interesting debate, detailing some complicated science between two people who seem very skilled in the science of drugs. Perhaps more importantly, it was a mature debate between two people that respected each others opinions.
